KYIV, Nov 19 - Ukraine in January-September 2018 increased consumption of natural gas by 1.4% (by 300 million cubic meters) compared to the same period in 2017, to 22.1 billion cubic meters.

According to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, in particular, industry consumed 8.1 billion cubic meters of gas (12.5% more compared to January-September 2017), the population and budget organizations some 7.6 billion cubic meters (2.6% less), heating companies some 4 billion cubic meters (5.3% more), production and technological costs amounted to 2.4 billion cubic meters (20% less).
