KYIV, Nov 14 – Ukraine will retain 2019 budget deficit at 2.3% of the gross domestic product even that lawmakers have submitted spending proposals ahead of the second reading, Finance Minister Oksana Markarova said Wednesday.

"With all these rather important changes, we managed to achieve the main thing - the budget deficit remains within 2.3% [of GDP]," Markarova said at a government meeting.
