KYIV, Nov 7 – The committee for tax and customs policy of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada has recommended that lawmakers pass bill No. 8487 on reduction of the excise duty on cars at second reading.
The decision was backed by 15 out of 18 members of the committee present at the meeting, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
The committee recommended that MPs passed at first reading bill No. 8488 that would toughen supervision over the transfer and use of cars registered in other states. A total of 16 lawmakers backed the decision.
