KYIV, Oct 17 - Ukraine in 2018 lost two positions in the Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and dropped to the 83rd place among 140 countries.
At the same time, the country managed to improve performance in such areas as financial systems (from 120th to 117th), institutional development (from 118th to 110th), infrastructure (from 78th to 57th), and innovation (from the 61st to the 58th place).
