KYIV, Oct 1 – A controversial order from the National Commission for the State Regulation of Energy, Housing and Utilities Services (NCER) may disrupt the operation of nuclear generation, National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom President Yuriy Nedashkovsky said.
"The actions and decisions of both the past and the current staff of the NCER deprive Energoatom of the opportunity to function normally and they destroy the future of the company. By artificially restraining the wholesale market price at the expense of nuclear workers, the NCER allows private generation to parasitize on state-owned generating companies - Energoatom and Ukrhydroenergo," the company's press service reported, citing Nedashkovsky.
