KYIV, Sept 13 - There are currently no problem banks in Ukraine, Kostiantyn Vorushilin, the managing director of the Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund, said.
"Today there are no problem banks. There are banks where there are supervisors. The NBU is thoroughly supervising all the banks. All the operations of all banks are being monitored ... We monitor those banks that overcharge rates, call the banks' managers. We monitor the state of their capital, their reserve funds. For a number of banks we daily monitor movement of assets within the framework of the early warning system," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
