KYIV, Sept 10 – Ukraine's Ministry of Infrastructure estimates the cost of implementing the Transport Strategy of Ukraine until 2030 at $60 billion, Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan has said.
"According to our preliminary calculations, the total budget for the implementation of this strategy is about $60 billion until 2030. Of these, more than half is envisaged from the Road Fund, the budget of Ukrzaliznytsia, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, and other agencies. We plan to attract the other part through direct foreign investments, public-private partnership, concession, as well as loans," he explained at a press conference at the ministry.
