KYIV, Sept 5 - Ukraine has won a tender for the modernization of Mi-17 multipurpose helicopters for the general headquarters of the Turkish gendarmerie.
According to an Interfax-Ukraine source in Ukrspecexport state company, according to the terms of the tender, 17 units of Mi-17 helicopters will be upgraded for the Turkish customer until 2020.
"The transfer of the first four upgraded Mi-17 helicopters to the customer is scheduled for 2019. The volume of the order is $40 million," the report says.
