KIEV, June 22 ??“ Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the national oil and gas company, pledged Thursday it will store more natural gas in underground tanks than is required to survive the winter, suggesting the company may resume exports.

The company responded to recent allegations from Gazprom, the Russian gas monopoly, that Ukraine has been lagging behind in storing enough gas that may lead to gas shortages.
