KYIV, Aug 8 - General Electric Transportation has sent the first of 30 GE TE33AC locomotives to Ukraine, the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia has reported.

"Today the first TE33AC locomotive from the General Electric Transportation plant in Erie, Pennsylvania, has been sent to Ukraine. It will follow by train to Norfolk, Virginia, then by ship across the Atlantic, the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea to Chornomorsk," Acting Chairman of Ukrzaliznytsia Yevhen Kravtsov said.
