KYIV, July 6 - The prime cost of coal extracted by Ukrainian state coal mines is still much higher that its selling price which needs UAH 3 billion in annual subsidies from the state, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said.
"We need a completely new policy in the coal mining industry. And the ministry is facing this task. I believe that Minister (of Energy and Coal Industry) Ihor Nasalyk is personally responsible for that," the prime minister said at the government's Q&A session in parliament on Friday, July 6.
