KYIV, June 21 – "Digital gap" – the irregularity of using modern digital technologies (first of all, Internet) by various social groups – is gradually narrowing in Ukraine, according to a posting on the website of the Ukrainian Internet Association (UIA), referring to the results of a study conducted by Factum Group Ukraine in May 2018.
"There is a gradual decrease in the 'digital gap.' Thus, the cumulative share of Internet users in villages and cities with a population of up to 100,000 increased from 51% three years ago (at the end of the second quarter of 2015) to about 56% today, and Internet penetration in Ukrainian villages reached 53%," the UIA said.
