KRAKOW, June 13 ??“ Ukraine may boost exports of steel to the European Union by about 87% after the country joins the World Trade Organization, a newswire reported Tuesday citing an industry analyst.

The exports would rise to 1.5 million metric tons annually from about 800,000 tons currently as restrictions would be lifted following the accession to the WTO, Oleksandr Sirik, an analyst with DerzhZovnishInform, said.
