KYIV, May 22 - Power consumption in Ukraine grew by 3.1%, or 1.627 billion kWh in January-April 2018 compared to January-April 2017, to 54.356 billion, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry has told Interfax-Ukraine.
The figures take into account technological losses in the power grids.
Without taking into account technological losses, electricity consumption in January-April 2018 increased by 4.2%, or 1.747 billion kWh, to 43.465 billion kWh.
