KYIV, May 21 – The change of the situation on the foreign capital market at the end of April and the further worsening in May temporarily weakened the potential of Ukrainian issuers to carry out loan transactions, Managing Partner of ICU Investment Group Makar Paseniuk said.
"Against the increased turbulence in the loan markets of developing economies, now is not the most favorable time for new issues of eurobonds for Ukrainian issuers. However, it is the same for refinancing old issues," he told Interfax-Ukraine at a conference devoted to the troubled assets market and held in Kyiv on May 17.
