KYIV, May 11 – Ukraine may get foreign investment in the defense sector after an independent audit of Ukroboronprom by a company working with the U.S. defense sector, Anthony Tether, former head of the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), said.
"I believe that foreign investors or organizations outside of Ukraine would invest money in Ukraine. But in order to do so, they need to see the independent accounting of the companies' financial balance sheet, as well as the accounting of how the company operates," he said in an interview with the Ukrainian specialized edition Defense Express, asked about the currently existing main obstacles to the injection of foreign investments in the defense industry of Ukraine.
