Anti-NATO protests in Crimea challenge Kiev, security advisor says

KIEV, June 9 - Vocal anti-NATO protests in Crimea over the past two weeks have been well-coordinated to challenge the central government in Ukraine, a top security advisor to President Viktor Yushchenko said Friday.

Volodymyr Horbulin, the acting secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, said Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies have been seeking to establish who had been orchestrating the protests.
