KYIV, March 30 – Ukraine’s oil refinery Ukrtatnafta has asked the Economic Development and Trade Ministry to introduce quotas on imports of gasoline and diesel fuel from May 1.
Ukrtatnafta sent a letter on March 16, asking to conduct an investigation, a copy of which has been sent to Interfax-Ukraine.
According to the document, from May 1, 2018, imports from the Russian Federation and Belarus (which Ukrtatnafta considers as a single source) are proposed to limit to 50% of the Ukrainian market (90,000 tons of petrol, 250,000 tons of diesel fuel per month), from other countries - 30% of the Ukrainian market (55,000 tons of petrol, 150,000 tons of diesel fuel per month).
