KYIV, March 12 – Russia’s Gazprom lost its image of a reliable gas supplier after its recent decision to terminate gas supply and transit contracts with Ukraine, President Petro Poroshenko said.

"Ukraine has repeatedly appealed to the European Commission, the EU member states to abandon the intentions of building the Nord Stream 2, as a project that threatens energy security of Ukraine and the EU," Poroshenko said at a joint briefing with High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice President Federica Mogherini on Monday in Kyiv.
