KYIV, March 6 – Ukraine will seek to negotiate a free trade area agreement with the United States to reduce potential negative impact from steel and aluminum imports tariffs, Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said.
"This is not a big surprise for us. We understand that the U.S. administration has been studying this issue for a long time,” Klimkin said.
“One of the proposals in this context is the introduction of a free trade area with the United States," he said. “We are committed to the most constructive dialogue.”
