KYIV, March 1 – Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE) held consultations with representatives of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Defense in the FAA headquarters in Washington.
UkSATSE reported that the main issue under discussion is the possibility of revising Special Federal Aviation Regulation No. 113 concerning the prohibition against certain flights in the Simferopol and the Dnipropetrovsk Flight Information Regions (FIRs) due to the temporarily occupation of Crimea by Russia and Russian aggression in eastern Ukraine.
