KYIV, Feb 28 – President Petro Poroshenko said he was optimistic that the International Monetary Fund will resume lending to Ukraine.

"I am the first Ukrainian president, during whose presidency we already have the fifth tranche from the IMF. The IMF issues tranches to Ukraine when we fulfill the memorandum," Poroshenko said Wednesday.
