KYIV, Feb 20 – Two former owners of major Ukrainian banks that went bankrupt have agreed to repay their debts alleviating the pressure on the state deposit guarantee fund, a senior official said.
Oleh Bakhmatiuk, a former owner of VAB Bank and Bank Financial Initiative, and Kostiantyn Zhevago, a former owner of Bank Finance and Credit, have pledged to repay the debts.
