Communists warn may block session unless pro-NATO ministers step down
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, May 31 – The Communist Party, the smallest group in Parliament, warned Wednesday it may resort to blocking a legislative session June 7 to force key ministers step down amid protests over a NATO exercise.

Petro Symonenko, the leader of the Communists, said the group had prepared a motion to dismiss Foreign Minister Boris Tarasiuk and Defense Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko for letting a U.S. Navy ship recently dock in a Ukrainian port.
