KYIV, Feb 12 – The Antimonopoly Committee has permitted the Interpipe international vertically integrated pipe and wheel company to create a joint venture (JV) with the leading manufacturer of seamless pipe in Europe Vallourec (France) and the acquisition of some assets by the French company that belong to Interpipe Limited.

The committee said that Vallourec Tubes S.A.S. (France) was permitted to indirectly, via Vallourec Deutschland GmbÍ (Germany), to acquire some assets of Interpipe Limited (Nicosia, Cyprus) that provides an opportunity to carry out economic activities for selling and promoting seamless steel pipes in the EU countries.
