KYIV, Feb 1 - The continuation of financial cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 2018 will allow Ukraine to maintain currency and exchange rate stability, Tomas Fiala, the president of the European Business Association (EBA), said.

He said at the end of this year the hryvnia to U.S. dollar exchange rate will be about UAH 29.5/$1.

"We expect UAH 29.5/$1 at the end of 2018, UAH 30.5/$1 at the end of 2019," he said during the traditional discussion of the macroeconomic forecast for the year at the EBA in Kyiv.
