KYIV, Feb 1 – The sales of new cars in Ukraine in January this year increased by 40.6% compared to the same month in 2017, to 6,620 units, which was a new post-crisis record for this month, according to AUTO-Consulting.
According to analysts, such a rapid increase in sales was due to the exchange rate "fever," which forced consumers to make faster decisions about the purchase of cars whose prices were rising more slowly than the U.S. dollar exchange rate was changing.
