KYIV, Jan 22 - The National Bank of Ukraine has placed up to $1 billion of forex reserves under the management of the World Bank, National Bank Deputy Head Oleh Churiy has said.
"As of today, part of our forex reserves is under the World Bank management. It is a sum of up to $1 billion," Churiy said as part of an information day in Kyiv on Monday.
The World Bank is one of the biggest investment managers for central banks, managing foreign exchange reserves of 53 countries, he said.
