KYIV, Jan. 18 - Ukraine’s largest privately held energy group DTEK has signed a deal with General Electric to supply 26 wind turbines with capacity of 3 MW each for construction of Prymorska Wind Power Plant in the Zaporizhia region, the group reported Wednesday.
The turbines will be delivered to Ukraine and installed at the site of the power plant by the end of 2018, according to DTEK.
When completed in 2021, Prymorska will have 200MW capacity, the same as Botievo, which is currently the largest wind farm in Ukraine. Botievo is also owned by DTEK.
