KYIV, Jan 15 - Energoatom in 2017 increased electricity production by 5.7% (by 4.602 billion kilowatt-hours) year-over-year, to 85.785 billion kWh, the press service of the company has said.

The target was met by 103.9%.

Electricity sales on the wholesale market during the reporting period totaled 80.502 billion kWh compared to 76.162 billion kWh year-over-year. Energoatom's share of total electricity sold to Energomarket state enterprise was 56.6% and the share of total electricity generation in the country was 55.2%.
