KYIV, Jan 12 – Clare Spottiswoode, a British national, was elected chairperson of the supervisory board of Naftogaz Ukrainy to supervise crucial reform in the energy sector, the company's press service reported.

Volodymyr Demchyshyn, the deputy chairman since April 18, 2017, continues to hold this position, the company said.

"The next supervisory board meeting is scheduled for the end of January 2018. The agenda includes the formation of the board's four committees and the appointment of their chairmen," it added.
