KYIV, Dec 4 – The doubling of the minimum wage in 2017 to UAH 3,200 per month is not among the factors of inflation growth this year, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko stated.
A new increase in the minimum wage in 2018 to UAH 4,100 can also be implemented without affecting inflation, he said.
"The absolutely correct initiative of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to raise the minimum wage in the country to UAH 4,100 ... I am convinced we have all chances to reach the minimum wage of UAH 4,100 in 2018 in a non-inflationary way," he wrote on his Facebook page.
