KYIV, Nov 21 - Metinvest, a mining and steel group owned by Rinat Akhmetov, the wealthiest Ukrainian, has repaid $56.7 million on eurobonds with maturity on December 31, 2021, the group reported.

According to the report, this amount consists of $26.445 million interest income for the period from August 18 to November 18, 2017, $20.138 million of the previously capitalized interest income, and $10.108 million of the sum principal.

After this payment, the total volume of the issue decreased to $1.187 billion.
