KYIV, Nov 15 – A top U.S. diplomat while recently traveling to Ukraine focused on anti-corruption efforts by the government, conflict in eastern parts of the country and problems plaguing state energy company Naftogaz Ukrayiny, a Ukrainian lawmaker said.
Hanna Hopko, the head of Parliament’s foreign affairs committee, said the visit by U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Wess Mitchell also focused on Russia’s efforts to build Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
