KYIV, Nov 6 – The State Nuclear Inspectorate has extended the operating life of reactor three of Zaporizhia nuclear power plant (NPP) for 10 years –until March 5, 2017, an official said.

The decision was made on November 3, 2017. The majority of the meeting participants supported the decision with one blank vote.

"The department of nuclear units is to issue the license to National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom to permit the company to operate reactor three of Zaporizhia NPP," Inspectorate Head Hryhoriy Plachkov said.
