KYIV, Oct 11 – Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has said that Ukrainian law enforcers will receive communications facilities produced in Turkey.
"It was Aselsan that offered the best qualitative and quantitative figures. We will not disclose other details of this contract, since it is a state secret," Avakov said in a statement after the Arms and Security 2017 exhibition in Kyiv.
Turkey's Aselsan on October 9 signed a contract with a Ukrainian client on the acquisition of communications system for $43.635 million, according to a company report on the Istanbul Stock Exchange on October 10.
