KYIV, Oct 12 – The national energy company Naftogaz Ukrayiny in January-September 2017 bought 17.5 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas, which is 21.5% or 3.1 bcm more than a year ago.
According to a press release of the group, it imported 7.1 bcm of gas from the European market (1.5-fold rise).
In 2017, Naftogaz bought gas from 12 suppliers from Germany, Switzerland, France, Britain, the Czech Republic, Poland and Italy. No of these companies delivered over 30% of the total volume of imported gas.
