KYIV, Sept 20 – Ukraine’s national energy company Naftogaz Ukrayiny and its six subsidiaries filed a lawsuit seeking to compensate losses caused by the unlawful seizure of the group's assets by Russia in Crimea to the tribunal of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, the press service of Naftogaz has reported.
The press service said that the loss of the Naftogaz group after the occupation of Crimea today is estimated by experts at around $5 billion. The court could make its decision in the lawsuit by the end of 2018.
