KYIV, Sept 15 – Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for Ukraine Sevki Acuner has said the EBRD hopes for the successful completion of negotiation on extension of lending to national energy company Naftogaz Ukrainy to buy gas until 2018.

He told Interfax-Ukraine on Friday that the bank is holding talks with Naftogaz to see that the company has enough financing. This also depends on continuation of reforms, he said. There is no concrete term, although the bank hopes that the talks will be completed this year, Acuner said.
