KYIV, Sept 14 – Ukraine intends to continue expanding cooperation with the European Union in order to join the Schengen Agreement and enter the EU customs union in the future, the country's President Petro Poroshenko said.
""We will expand our cooperation with the European Union. I believe that we will be able to join the Schengen Union. I believe that we will be able to enter the customs union and a unified energy union. I believe that Ukraine will be a member of a single aviation space," Poroshenko said during a meeting with representatives of domestic and foreign business in Kyiv on Thursday.
