KYIV, Sept 14 - Energy resources have ceased to be a political instrument and turned into an ordinary commodity, President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"The energy independence of our state has been ensured. In 2016 we just learned to live without Russian gas, and today we have proved to the whole world that we are able to live [without Russian gas], and gas ceased to be a political "running knot" and began to be an ordinary commodity," Poroshenko said at a meeting with representatives of national and foreign business in Kyiv.
