KYIV, Sept 14 – Large-scale corruption and the absence of trust in the judicial system are the key obstacles for investing in Ukraine, according to a poll conducted by Dragon Capital Investment Company and the European Business Association.
According to their joint press release, respondents assessed the above-mentioned barriers at 8.5 and 7.5 points respectively on a 10-grade scale (the same as last year).
Monopolization of markets and seizure of power by oligarchs (5.9 points) are third in the ranking, while military conflict with Russia and the unpredictable currency exchange rate (5.6 points each) were fourth and fifth in the ranking.
