KYIV, Sept 6 – The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine will present the results of the investigation into the increase of prices on the poultry market if there are signs of wrongdoings and will decide on the opening of the case by early October 2017.
"The purpose of our study so far is the analysis of the influence of external factors on the growth of the price of chicken meat for Ukrainian consumers. We continue to conduct our study and if there are signs of violation, abuse of monopoly or anticompetitive concerted actions, we will open the case. The issue is a priority for us, and we will try to find out if there are signs of violation of law in September-early October," Committee Head Yuriy Terentiev said at a working meeting on the price situation in the poultry market.
