KIEV, July 19 - The integration of power grids of Ukraine and of the continental Europe ENTSO-E will help to make domestic power prices lower, Vsevolod Kovalchuk, the head of Ukrenergo, said.

According to European statistics, the combination of energy systems and markets leads to a drop in prices by 20-30% in the integrated country at the time of accession.

"The sooner we join the European system, the sooner we will get real market conditions," he said.
