ODESA, July 17 - President Petro Poroshenko on Monday instructed relevant departments to expand the presence of the EU Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM) at a number of border crossing points.
"Today, I've instructed the Foreign Ministry and the State Fiscal Service to extend EUBAM to other border crossing points to ensure transparency and efficient countering of smuggling and corruption," Poroshenko said during a joint statement with Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip at the launch of the joint Ukrainian-Moldovan customs and border control in Kuchurgan.
