KIEV, April 12 – The 4G (LTE) communications network could appear in Kiev in six months after holding the tenders to receive the licenses, which are scheduled by the National Commission for Communications and Informatization Regulation (NCCR) for this autumn, CEO of Ericsson Ukraine Andrew Shomakhiya said.
"LTE is the proved and widely applied technology in the world, and it could be introduced in Ukraine very quickly. I think that in six months after the completion of the tender Kiev residents would receive 4G," he said in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
