KIEV, March 29 - Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the national energy company, filed a lawsuit with the European Court of Justice seeking to block Gazprom’s increased access to OPAL gas pipeline, the company reported Wednesday.

The lawsuit seeks to cancel the European Commission’s decision approved in October 2016 that has granted Gazprom the increased access to OPAL. Naftogaz joins PGNiG of Poland, which filed a similar lawsuit in December 2016.
