KIEV, March 10 – UkrTatNafta, Ukraine’s largest oil refinery, on Friday received the first shipment of crude oil from Azerbaijan delivered via the Odessa-Kremenchuk oil pipeline, a refinery official said.
UkrTatNafta has been previously receiving some Azeri crude via railroad deliveries, but the pipeline shipments open door for increased supplies and faster deliveries.
“The railroad deliveries are restricted in capacity,” said Serhiy Kosheliuk, the deputy head of UkrTatNafta who is in charge of production and capital investments. “We plan to accelerate production and to expand our market share.”
