KIEV, Feb. 20 – Ukraine could get anthracite coal from Russia or South Africa instead of the territories that are not under control of the Ukrainian government, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Ihor Nasalyk said.

"Alternative sources could be found, starting tomorrow. But what do we change? We could start supplying anthracite from Kuzbass tomorrow, and only instead of own miners we will pay money to Russian miners. Instead of revenues of the Ukrainian budget we will pay to the Russian budget," he said on ICTV channel late on Sunday.
