KIEV, Feb. 8 – Inflation in Ukraine in January 2017 was 1.1% compared to 0.9% in December 2016, the State Statistics Service reported on Wednesday.
In annual terms (compared to the same month last year) inflation in January fell to12.4% from 12.6%.
The authority reported that food and non-alcoholic drinks prices in January grew by 1.9%. Prices of vegetable grew most of all (by 14.5%). Prices of fruit, milk, sour cream, fermented dairy products, beef, cheese and butter rose by 3.9-2.2%. Prices of eggs fell by 2.3%.
